I don't know if this has already been linked, but needless to say, it's pretty damn hilarious.

PETA is continuing with its almight crusade in full force, it seems. The link is basically a flash game spoofing Pokemon series of RPGs, in which various Pokemon are battling against the trainers. Click the link and see for yourself.

Didn't they do a Mario one too? Which makes even less sense. So they have the mindset that depicting graphic violence to both humans and animals with a flash game or whatever will raise awareness? Then again we are talking about a group that propably sacrifices people to a Shih Tzu.

umm yeah, this seems totally suable for Nintendo. somebody clearly played the Pokemon game then turned around and smashed it.

if Pokemon was so bad, for how popular it is, we should see a worldwide increase in pitting animals to fight each other for human pleasure. it still occurs, but we don't see an abnormal increase that correlates to Pokemon so...

There are adults who play Pokemon, and yeah you get 3 different videos per trainer.

Nothing they do surprises me anymore.

Professor Oak did always tell me to care for and respect Pokemon.

I gotta laugh though when they try and find animal cruelty in video games (Mario was a good example). Surely they realise almost no one takes them seriously anymore...

I honestly don't understand where PETA gets this idea that the Pokemon series somehow has animal cruelty in it.

Kids aren't the only ones that play it, so do adults as well. So yeah....whatever you say, PETA! Whatever ya say...

Directly compared victims of the Holocaust to animals in holding pens, going so far as to place pictures of both side-by-side.

Distributed pamphlets depicting an evil-looking woman slaughtering a rabbit titled Your Mommy Kills Animals that contained graphic images of a skinned carcass. This pamphlet was specifically targeted and distributed to children. Here's a direct quote from the comic:

They ran advertisements directly comparing slaves and the oppression of Native-Americans to animals in captivity.

PETA has also funded ALF, an extremist animal-rights organization responsible for millions in property damage.

Even other animal rights organizations have distanced themselves from PETA and Ingrid Newkirk, the founder, has been shown to be a grossly egocentric person with delusions of grandeur who sincerely feels she is on par with abolitionists or civil rights leaders.

All Hail Greenpeace, they INDEED care for the nature ;) And ALL of it, not just Animals ^^ ESPECIALLY NOT video game fantasy animals!

The only persons I know of in the Pokemon universe that actually dominated and abused their Pokemanz were Gary and to some extent Team Rocket. The entire message of the Pokemon world was pretty much to love and respect your Pokemon and to live in harmony with eachother. PETA should give them a damn medal for showing entire generations of kids how awesome animals are and that we should care for them above all.
