Other film franchises that should be LEGO-fied.

I'm not sure if there if there necessarily has to be a LEGO theme in establishment before a game is made, or if the themes can be created in conjuction therewith, but I'm definitely putting my money on a "Lego Matrix" trilogy sometime in the future, given Traveller's Tales' new Warner Bros affiliations. Of course, words can't describe how insanely awesome that would/will be; the sheer amount of levels and unlockable characters would be incredible, and sadly, would actually make it the first good Matrix game ever (and probably the last).

A few equally cool but less likely ideas:

• Lord of the Rings
• X-Men
• Pirates of the Carribean

None of these film franchises are nearly as old as those in the LEGO games we've seen so far, but I think any movie series with colossal mainstream popularity, tons of action, a massive catalog of iconic characters, and varied environments would make for a great addition. Anyone have any more suggestions?

TC is right. LEGO Matrix could be nice. I can't think of any film to be LEGO-fied.

Other games to be LEGO-fied could be nice too. Maybe LEGO GTA or any famous bloody hack-and-slash game. Instead of blood, enemies would be chopped into pieces. Hehe. A LEGO God of War!

How about Dodgeball: A true underdog story. Then you can all live out your fantasy playing as Peter Leflure.

I do not believe that any other kind of LEGo movie should be made except for James Bond, but even then, there would be to much romance for little kids to take. I also believe that another LEGO game based off of a movie should never come at all in the first place. It would become to much a natural thing, and would eventualy be a little bit played out a bit. Making a LEGO SW was a good move, since it's not only an appropriet film that kids can watch it also can easily be made fun because of the whole "force" thing, as well as good character variation.

So, my point is that StarWars was a good idea, but any other kind of movie would be a BAD idea except for the exception of a LEGO James Bond game.

I don't think that would be made for kids though, and without any dialogue (hence, the Indy Jones and SW didn't have any), I think it wouldn't be that funny rather.

Uh, I don't think so. 300 is a violent film, and Sin City, that's a no-brainer. Ofcourse neither one would be made into a LEGO game.
