Old games you finally beat this year

What are some old games that you finally beat this year for the first time?

This year, these are the old games I beat:

• Dead Space
• Star Wars: Knights of the old republic 2: Sith Lords
• Pokemon Red Gameboy (I truly struggle with this game because it hasn't aged well)
• Sonic Adventure 2
• Nights into Dreams

Still want a new one.

I'm sure this won't qualify as old for a lot of people but 3 and a half years after release I finally played horizon zero dawn and I think it's my new GOAT. I'm currently on my third playthrough and I'm still totally captivated by this title. The characters, setting, story, atmosphere, soundtrack - everything is just incredible. I actually feel sorry for people who played this on release, I've basically skipped 3 years of anticipating the sequel.

Not particularly old, lol - but Mankind Divided. To offset that weak response I also played the original Phantasy Star in the Sega Ages release. Really enjoyed it. Also completed Myst III, which was great as well

playing a number of older games now, but haven't finished them yet to declare victory

With the Switch collection just got around to beating Prinny: Can I be the Hero this week. It was way more difficult on PSP; easier due to control improvements, less stiff and more responsive. will make my way towards the sequel soon.

What an amazing game. The remake of Nights on PS2 is even more amazing.

Shame SEGA focuses so much effort on Sonic the Hedgehog. At least Alex Kidd is getting a second chance.

@RSM-HQ: The funny thing is, after playing Sonic Adventure with the pinball Nights segment stage, it got me all excited to finish up with Nights into Dreams on PC and I must admit, it woke up the nostalgic in me. I played the original on Saturn many years ago but never could finish it due to school.

Fun fact: SHIGERU MIYAMOTO Shigeru Miyamoto said it himself "wish he made this game" and he likes Nights into Dreams.

Also, with the Sonic the Hedgehog movie success, I for one hope they do a Nights live movie...if possible.

I wonder what game I’ll move on to in my backlog next.

There’s probably been a few but one that comes to mind is the original Dragon Warrior/Quest. Played it on the Switch.

Project Zero aka Fatal Frame (Xbox version), Project Zero 2 (PS2) and Project Zero 3 (PS2).

Never properly finished Tomb Raider 3 nor Last Revelation.

Tomb Raider 3 is largely great, Last Revelation is a frustrating mess.

Gears 1, 2 and 3. Dark Space 2 and 3. Halo ODST. Mario Sunshine.

Cyberpunk 2077 - was meh.
