I am a huge fan of the Castlevania franchise. I own just about every title. But, the last two console installments haven't been as great as I would have expected them to be. The game has always been a linear game, maps and all; 3D doesn't fit the game's concept.
Odin Sphere proves that 2D can work on what ever "next-gen" console is out. I think the implementation of 2D can really boost the Castlevania franchise. If a game like Odin can get a 7.6, imagine what a Castlvania game could game could rate.
