Is it possible to hook a NES to a computer monitor. I do it with my 360, but it has its own hook up, is there anything out there to do this for the NES?

You would need a piece of hardware to convert the analog composite signal to VGA. I use the StarTech.com Video Game Jockey, it's not bad, and it does what it needs to do.

Err, if I recall correctly, the NES didn't have a composite output option. Only RF.

No, it has composite. I know that for a fact because that's how I used to hook it up.

Which version of the NES do you have?

The old, spring-loaded-slot one. There may have been different versions of that, though.

Does it just have the round A/V connector, or also the boxy one?

I have my NES and SNES hooked up on my monitor. However, my monitor has R/Y/W AV jacks.
