My System Wars thread got locked.

Original Topic - System Wars = Stupidity (My rant lol)?

Hey System Wars, or should I say.....Hey (enter in trollololol words here)

I haven't read these forums in years due to the fact I grew up and stopped caring about meaningless s**t such as "which console is blah blah blah". I signed up for these forums 10 years ago when I was 15 in 2004 and nothing has changed.

I remember the craziness of 2005/2006 when the 360 launched early and Sony botched the PS3 E3/Launch. I owned an Xbox (original/1) , PS2, Dreamcast and Game Cube when the Gen 6 to 7 exodus happened. **Fun Fact - Xbox (1) was my favorite console of Gen 6 and Xbox 360 for Gen 7)**

Now to the point.

I bought a PS4 over an Xbox One.....There is no point of me telling you why I bought a PS4 over an Xbox One...........my opinion, views, and words don't mean s**t on a forum like System Wars. I'm just a person you don't know and will never know on the internet!

If you choose the Xbox One, enjoy it to the fullest, you made the choice for YOURSELF.

PS - I know my old GS username is lame, make fun all you want, I was an immature kid back then (10 years ago).

Anyways.....Gamespoters, enjoy your vidz. Be it PS4 (Sony), Xb1 (MS), retro goodness. We're all gamers!!!!!!!

I'm assuming you were told why your thread was locked in the first place?

@Korvus85: It was locked because I did not have 500 posts. Following Gamespot for 10 years plus isn't enough for making a neutral topic (xbox/ps) on system wars apparently.

Just making sure you were told. I've been following GS for 10 years myself and I still get flak for only having registered last year =)

Although I'm sure that min post count rule wasn't made so that people could remake their threads in another section I'll leave it to the more experienced SW moderators and Community Managers to make their decision about this.

@Korvus85: Thanks Korvus, I appreciate your moderating and break down of the rules.

I get no pleasure out of preventing people from enjoying the forums, as long as they're not preventing others from doing the same =) Rules are rules, but I'd rather try to foster a self-regulating community so I can be more of a user with the power to help than a crazed banhammer-wielding moderator. ;-)

FYI, it's best you use that handy link to PM the entire mod staff for queries like this in the future.
