That is the worst attempt to disprove Musya I have seen in my life. You compared clear sound with hearable insturments to a game playing music through a static wall to make it sound better which instead makes it sound like I have bad reception on the radio. Whether it may sound better or be your favorite music genre, ok, but technically, no.Nope.

We are not talking opinions, we are talking technical and that game fails in many ways technically.not while super mario world exists.

You also can;t say something that's your opinion is technically better. Musya is technically better than X2 by a large gap.not while super mario world exists.

Agreed. (Though the SNES had the best sound of the 16-bit era, by far) I don't know where this guy gets the idea that the game's music is "the best on the SNES PERIOD. No competition."Lol the SNES has very crappy music if that is the best. Btw check out any F-Zero game, way more kick @ss than that game's music.

Donkey Kong Country has the best music on SNES IMO, by far:
Opening Theme:

Jungle Level:

Water Level:

Such a beautiful soundtrack.
I agree with the others that Megaman X has better music than Musya, but Maximum Carnage is my favorite.

The few tunes it does have, are pretty cool. But the problem is that they recycle a lot of the same music throughout the game.
That's why it's on the iPod. The two sequels aren't quite as good as the original IMO. Also, Starfox is up there as well.Donkey Kong Country has the best music on SNES IMO, by far:

DKC definately had one of the best soundtracks. I especially like the music that plays in the bonus/special areas.
holy sheet

I totally agree! There are Super Nintendo games that do the system justice, but for the most part it is ruined when they filter all the beats for some odd reason. The best example of this is the Super Mario brothers theme on All Stars sounds very inferior to the original. I take it tc if we included the Genesis, there would be a lot more competition?
It's good, but there's quite a few soundtracks I like better...
F-Zero
Ys III: Wanderers From Ys
ActRaiser
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy V
Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest
Secret of Mana
Final Fantasy VI
Live-A-Live
Emerald Dragon
Chrono Trigger
Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals
Tales of Phantasia
Donkey Kong Country 2

Herzog Zwei
Star Cruiser
Ys III: Wanderers From Ys
Streets of Rage
Streets of Rage 2
Sonic 2
And best of all...
Zero Wing

Jag85
A few more tracks I'd probably add for Secret of Mana:
