Looking to make a Diablo 3 run. Curious what you guys think the most fun class to play with is? Your personal opinion of coarse. :)

Classes

  • Barbarian.
  • Crusader.
  • Demon Hunter.
  • Monk.
  • Witch Doctor.
  • Wizard.

The Monk was a blast, the animations were pretty cool.

I like to play as Monk. It has best of both worlds IMO.

I've only played as the barbarian, witch doctor and wizard. The latter 2 were my favorite.

I've always enjoyed Monk; cool animations, a neat look overall, awesome abilities, and they really have awesome weapons (fists, staff, hand blades, etc).

Witch Doctor has some really, really awesome spells too, and is my favorite "caster" class to play.

i've only played as Witch Doctor so far, but its really fun, all ranged attacks mostly so i like it.'

I hate the lag in this game though, i wish there was a solo single player mode that you could play. The fact you have to be connected all the time is terrible for me because i get so much packet loss which really ruins the fun. I have this game on the xbox 360 and it actually lets you play offline, and the difference is crazy how much more responsive it is without requiring to communicate with a server, its too bad really... the gameplay is much worse on the pc version.

I agree 100% about how it should have an offline mode. Blizzard took a couple steps back in that regard. I actualy prefer playing the console version because of that. It's also cool how there is local co-op.

Having played the console version, I don't see the appeal of the PC version at all - unless you're the biggest diablo fan and you don't own a console. There are far better online games.

I like the Witch Doctor. I'm partial to pet builds.

@Cobra_nVidia:

I haven't played either version in awhile. I just remember when I played this game on console, almost every random group I joined had at least one cheater just blowing through everything. It was not fun.

Never had that problem on PC.

I'm always partial to Barbarians/Fighters in these types of games, and he's also my choice here. I had fun with the Crusader as well, but not nearly as much.

I'm very partial to the Barb class and always have one but the Monk is fun as well as the WD. It's been a while since I played D3 but Blizzard really tuned to the PD WD down a lot. You used to could cover the screen almost in poison darts. Now it's like 10?

No one vote for Demon Hunter? She's my favorite.

Definitely Wizard. I level it up every season along with one other, and every time I end up using completely different skills thanks to the different legendary item buffs. It's always such a blast

I've dabbled in all of the classes since launch but the monk has been the one I've spent the most time with. Not only are they super fun to play with but they have the best range of high level build diversity.

Here's a vid of my monk doing a Greater Rift 70 using a LON/LTK build (highest I've done is 72):

Feel free to browse through my channel if you're curious though. I have builds of all the classes up there. This aint an ad so don't feel obligated to subscribe, I don't care about subs and stuff. I just use it to share Diablo 3 builds and discuss theorycraft

This isn't 1996! :O

Study these pics carefully. This is online gaming:

Waving at tiny NPCs

Cheering at player pets because they are birds!

Not included: Waving and cheering at wildlife like bunnies and cows.

The only Diablo game I played with others was Diablo 1. It felt exactly the same as it felt alone: click, click, click. Hey! Wanna PvP? Click click click. And even then, playing with people I knew was better than random online people.

At least with the console, the controls are pretty fun for a change, and you can play with friends apparently.
