Now that looks good. Looking forward to whenever this new MH game releases.
Early 2018, not a clear release but assume around Spring if all goes as planned. Though I should note that release window will be on Xbox and Playstation. Capcom do plan on a Steam/ P.C. release as well but at a later date, and have stated in a recent interview the P.C. port will be a few months behind the console releases.
Don't jump in blind however, if you've never tried a Monster Hunter game it maybe a lot to take in, so keep in mind the game has a lot of complex mechanics and at times will be more difficult a game than Dark Souls.
It's a series of investment, as it's demanding, yet if you have a few friends to enjoy the game with? It'll be an even more enjoyable experience. Coop is a strong part of this series, and the popular way to play the game_

Played it on the handhelds but never quite enjoyed it as much as I would have liked to.
As mentioned to Dav. One of Monster Hunters strongest aspects is to play it coop/ along with up-to three other people, hopefully friends. If you can? I highly recommend it. Personally enjoy it solo as well but coop is much more enjoyable. Especially when facing Elder Dragons.
*May as well add this from the other MH thread-
We're going to continue with free DLC support. We have lots of cool ideas for collaborations
So Monster Hunter: World is confirmed to have free DLC like previous MH games. I know many view Capcom in a negative light when it comes to DLC, however the MH franchise has been well-known for what's called Events. It's timed DLC that must be grabbed during a certain time-period. Lots of fun armor and weapons can be earned during these, so it'll be pretty exciting what we get in World.
