Looking For a style of game

So, I'm looking for some games with monster/creature breeding/raising/catching/collecting/hatching/etc. Similar sort of, to Pokemon. I would prefer the monster/creature breeding/collecting/etc to be the main focus of the game, but thats not completely necessary as long as it is there.

Spore should be right up your alley. Ni No Kuni has a Pokemon type of system.
