Looking for a new Game to get hooked on!!

Hi people,New to this forum and looking for a new addiction....so far I have loved games like Unchartered 1,2 and 3,The 3 Batman games and Just cause.I am currently playing 'The amazing spiderman',which I am finding to be Very average if I am being honest.....So the question is which game can I move onto which has a similar style to the games above??Thanks.Paul.

If you are looking for more open world third person action games, check out the super-hero inFamous games or the wonderful western Red Dead Redemption. If you want a great third person fantasy action RPG check out Kingdoms of Amalur. If you want a more straight up action game, check out Star Wars the Force Unleashed or X-Men Origins: Wolverine. If you want a great action adventure games (with some survival aspects) in the veins of Uncharted check out the 2013 Tomb Raider and Naughty Dog's wonderful The Last of Us. All of these games are some of my favorite games of all time.

These are the games that I recommend to you:

• FAR CRY 4 - I like this game, very open world and a lot of things to do such as hunting, side quests, unlock weapons, riding elephants, hostage rescues, liberating outposts and what's the best thing about it is, that you approach each missions whatever way you prefer, stealth mode using bow, knife or from a distance (SNIPING HEADSHOT!!!!) or plain old all out gun blazing, . Pretty sure you've played FAR CRY 1, 2, 3 before. FAR CRY 4 there are plenty of things to see as well including an eagle-eating pig, Randomly grab a pig and drop it.
• TOMB RAIDER - have similar game style with UNCHARTED.
• ZOMBIE GAMES GENRE - Have you not played any zombie games like dead island, the walking dead series and dead rising.

I forgot to mention some of the other games I have already played : Last of us (loved that game),Infamous 1+2 (awesome) and also the 2013 Tombraider (also top notch)......The Farcry series looks good,not played any of those and not played any of the zombie games yet either,which one could you recommend? or shall I go for Red dead redemption? Also if I choose one of the Farcry games,should I go straight for the 4th installment? Decisions,Decisions....!!!!

If you have a Wii U, it has a few games to get hooked on. Hyrule Warriors and even more so Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate are both incredibly addictive mood relaxers lol.

Not got the wii.just looked at Shadow of Mordor on youtube....that looks excellent,although is there good variety as the game progress's??I.E problem solving etc?

if you like RPG's and story, go for Dragon Age, it's 150 hours long if you do everything

I'd recommend looking at metacritic.com Best place to find games you might enjoy, with them all rated by sites and people.

Looking at your taste, I hope you did not forget the great Tom Raider 2013. I just finished it and I was I think better than Shadow of Mordor. Back in the days, I had not a good computer to play this game and I was following public games that much either.

@gmak2442: Yes I did play Tombraider 2013 and I too loved that game!! I am torn between Farcry 4 and Shadow of modor at the minute,can't decide!

Had a look on metacritic just a moment ago.......Shadow of modor got a 3.1/10 !!!! Thats based on over 70 user reviews,Most of those reviews absolutely slated the game for the ps3!!! Do you guys concur with those opinions?

Shadow of mordor and dying light especially if you have a friend to play coop with in dying light

The "current gen" console versions of that game had some of the best content cut from the next-gen and PC versions. Fan response to this was extremely negative. A lot of the core gameplay is still there, but the whole "Nemesis" system of the game tracking Uruk Generals and Captains and a constantly changing ranking system amongst your enemies is severely reduced in terms of scope and it which was one of the few features that made that game really unique.

The combat is good but it's basically a cut and paste of the combat from the Batman games. Fun game, but I would recommend you get it for Xbox One, PS4 or PC.

@bakybobs: If you really loved all 3 of the UNcharteds then you will enjoy The Last of Us which can be had very cheap right now.
