Why does this place attract so many tools?

Because Another48Hours is a lunatic who is pathetic enough to create several dozens of alts.

No, there's more than one. He's probably got his bumchums in on the 'fun' too.

This is true, for sure. Which is why I don't venture outside of the Legacy Platform boards too much on GameSpot.

But in this case, it's freaking obvious it's the same guy. "President" and "Secret Service" and all.

I was looking back at the almost over a year amount of legacy threads, and I didn't even realize one of the most active posters, Greekgamemaniac, was knocked off. Man, I can't think of any reason he seemed like a good guy.

I am looking for an alternative to Sim City and Civilization. But not anything like the sims, but closer to Age of Empires without being either.

Actraiser for SNES. Not as complex city building as SimCity, and set in ancient civilizations rather than modern settings. But the game also mixes action and RPG elements into it making it a very fun game.

You city build in Actraiser? I'm starting to regret ignoring a ton of games in that era.

Try Rise of Nations, it's exactly what you're looking for.

Settlers 2 10th Anniversary is also worth a look but is more simplistic than the games you mentioned.

I'll probably have more to suggest when you come back with your next account.

I have a PAL Saturn with an action replay 2

but I won't play any RPGs that are in Japanese, as I said, I don't want any games that require knowledge of the Japanese language

Than just get HK-model games which are in english, than you can play Saturn Grandia in English.

Anyone here play Banjo Kazooie Grunty's Revenge or Banjo Pilot for GBA? I've been building up my GBA collection and I can get these games for pretty cheap. I'm more interested in Grunty's Revenge but I've seen both good and bad reviews for it.

It's an okay game. It's not as near as good as the two Banjo games for 64 but it's not terrible either. The Spyro games are better also as far as GBA platformers go.

In no particular order...

N64 Recommendations: Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, Super Smash Bros., Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, Quest 64, Ogre Battle 64, Bomberman 64, Rogue Squadron, Mario Party, StarFox 64, Mario Kart, Zelda: Majora's Mask...

PS2 Recommendations: Way of the Samurai, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Fatal Frame 2, Shadow of the Colossus, GTA 3 and San Andreas, God of War, Devil May Cry(s), Prince of Persia(s), Final Fantasy X, Silent Hill 2...

Man that era of gaming was incredible -- so many new and evolutionary titles!

Thanks! I'll probably give those a try. There looks to be a ton of Spyro games for GBA lol.

Alien Trilogy

Darius Gaiden

Galactic Attack

Virtua Cop 1 & 2

X-Men vs. Street Fighter

Most of those games are the opposite of cheap, these aren't too bad I'd second them. Some I would add:
Astal
Daytona USA
Fighters Megamix
Panzer Dragoon 1-2
Shinobi Legions
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Virtua Fighter 2

Some of these may be a bit more pricey than they were a few years ago when I was really into collecting for Saturn. Prices change so much lately.

Maybe not deserving of a 10 but still awesome.
