Similarities: 1.Large world to explore 2.Many NPCs to interact with. 3.Expansive plots 4.Large cast of main characters 5.Shorter loading times than most games. 6.Variety of gizmos and weapons. 7.Plenty of different vehicles with their own handling to drive 8.Both main characters have to work their way up the latter to build their reputation. Differences: jakII 1.Has better graphics. 2.Npc A.I. is smarter 3.Unique original music. 4.more balanced weapons 5.Better gun handling 6.Smoother controls 7.Better Motorcyle handling 8.More fictional sci-fi like landscape and world. GTAVC 1.Has compilations of musician soundtracks stretching through multiple genres 2.Better Car handling 3.More types of weapons outside of guns 4.Goes for a more 80's but realistic look for the games world. 5.NPC's will attack you 7.More serious plot 8.Majority of the game takes place in the city/town areas. No outside areas. Jak II and Vice City less than a year apart if I am not mistaken, both have similar ideas and gameplay staples. But they both put a different cover on top of them. Which do you think did the better job, and is the software product higher in quality?
