I'm looking through their Sunday ads this morning. They're advertising Lair to come out this Wednesday ()and GTA IV to come out 10/17 (:o). It's an embarassment for a company as large as Best Buy to not be up to date with something as simple as release dates. For shame, Best Buy! For shame!

Those two ads must be next to the StarCraft:Ghost one. Do companies like BB have people actually checking this kind of stuff?

To be fair, the ads for this week were printed a couple weeks ago.

you should go in with the add and demand a copy of the advertised game. throw a fit and see if they'll give you a raincheck discount or something...

These ads are created and sent out to be printed weeks in advance. It's not Best Buy's fault

Lol then whose fault is it? It's Best Buy's fault for releasing the ads in the first place. They should be embarrassed imo.

Retail chains have done this for years, not just Best Buy. :|

It's the publishers' fault for delaying their games at the last minute. Not to mention retailers generally lose money in their video game departments (only there to draw customers into the store).

Check the fine print on the ad. I'm sure there's something that says "Best Buy not responsible for misprints, product changes, etc."

Who looks at BB adds for video game release dates? lol of course you cannot trust a corporation that sells hundreds if not thousands of entertainment products withconstantly changing release dates.
