Naughty Dog? I would say they've made some pretty sloppy Crash titles more recently, but that's just me.EdgeJM
Naughty Dog hasn't made a Crash Bandicoot game since the PS1 days.
For me, I'd say that Valve, Blizzard, Kojima Productions, Insomniac, Rockstar North and Naughty Dog consistently deliver the goods.

Naughty Dog has not made a Crash game since forever.
Sequels or not, Nintendo has been the most consistent developer of all time.
Yeah, according to Game Developer magazine, they actually boast the highest ratio in the entire industry. 81% I believe.

Intelligent Systems, Nintendo EAD, Retro, Monolith Soft...those are Nintendo's developers. When talking about developers, we're talking about actual people who make games. Saying Nintendo as a whole is a "developer" is like saying EA or Activision are developers which is all kinds of silly, in my opinion. As a whole, these are publishers which are accounted for countless games created by a whole bunch of different people who have probably never even seen each other. I realize that generally Japanese publishers don't really care about developer brands, they tend to credit everything to a single label which makes it hard to recognize actual developers within companies such as Nintendo, Capcom, Sega, etc.
Anyway, it has to be Valve. They don't have a big catalogue, but that catalogue is absolutely flawless. I would also say Rockstar North if we don't count the DMA Design years. Also, Relic is a powerhouse whose perfect list is only stained by The Outfit which was probably made by some THQ suits bent on dragging Relic's good name through the mud.
I've enjoyed all of Irrational's Games. Played a few SWATs on my friend's PC, own System Shock 2, Bioshock, Freedom Force games and they are all good titles.smerlus
Intelligent Systems definitely has the longest quality track record and actually innovates unlike Blizzard.dchan01
That's a pretty odd statement considering that Advance Wars Days Of Ruin isn't that much different from its predecessor save for the darker setting.
Aside from that, innovation seems to be an overly abused terminology nowadays.
The first two that spring to mind are Bungie and Valve. Valve probably moreso than Bungie simply because of what they've done outside of Half Life what with Steam, Source, Portal, and Team Fortress 2.

Oni breaks the chain for me. But there's no drought of good games in Bungie's backlog :P
Ubisoft, splinter cell, assasins creed.
Blizzard= diablo, starcraft, WOW
naughty dog = crash bandicoot and jak and daxter series.
Imagine babiez - Serious business!
They should turn that franchise into a MMO. Just imagine what the chat would look like.

Well the thread is asking about developers that have consistently delivered the goods, and I felt that any company that could put out games like Splinter Cell and Assassin's Creed could hardly be called consistent if they also were responsible for Imagine Babies and Horsez.
It was a joke.:)

idk what imagine babies and horsez is.
With Ubisoft I think Assassin's Creed is a definite love it/hate it affair, I for one think that free running around medieval towns makes for a great game, even if the game did get repetitive, for me it didn't matter, I could just stop doing the missions and go exploring.
Splinter Cell-wise, I've only played the two most recent titles in the series Double Agent and Chaos Theory and I thought Chaos Theory's co-op was fantastic, better even than modern day offerings similar to it *coughArmyOfTwocough*, and Double Agent for me offered an interesting multiplayer concept of soldiers versus spies, twinned with a fun if slightly gimmicky single player campaign (the choosing good or evil moments for me were completely pointless).

Not really...Blizzard made some "not that good games" too.Valve didn´t really make one totally outstanding game (IMO H-L2 is pretty boring)...Square turned from one great game after another to a pretty ok but not aoutstanding developer.I don´t think people should count devs like Mistwalker, even if they are great...it´s only 2 games so far.
I think Starbreeze is another dev team that COULD be considered consistent as long as they keep churning out solid titles like Chronicles of Riddick and The Darkness (come on Dark Athena)
They make great FPS's but I hope they're not a one trick pny with the familiarities between Riddick and The Darkness

Enclave wasn't very good though.
