I want to buy Portal: Still Alive it on XBLA, because it seems great, I never had a gaming PC, and it's cheap.

Portal got a lot of praise, even from Yahtzee...but is it the same game as Still Alive? Is there anything different?

Exact same, but I believe it comes with some extra levels.

Yes its the same game, Still Alive is just the stand-alone Portal for the xbox. But I would recommend just getting the orange box as it's 3 game plus 2 expansions in 1.

True, plus you can probably find it for $20 (which is only $5-10 more than Portal: Still Alive).

Well...I get MS points for free, so replace "cheap" with "free," and you'll realize why this is a better deal (money-wise) than TOB.

Also, I'm not interested in Half-Life...

Don't hurt me!

Thanks for the answers though, it makes me feel better to know I can experience the game that made everybody say at least once, "The cake is a lie!"

I'm not spoiling anything, but Portal is part of the Half-Life universe. Although currently the connection between the games is rather limited. Everyone's hoping that Portal 2 and HL2: Episode 3 clear things up.

It's the same game. It's Portal with the extra content that Valve gave away for free on PC.
