Is Overwatch the greatest game of all time?
No. It's probably the best multiplayer game to come along in a long time. But that's the only accolade I'd give it.
There's no such thing as the greatest game of all time since, like all art forms, people's tastes are relative.

I don't know a single person here that thinks so.
Maybe you should break down why you think it's 'the greatest game of all time', instead of assuming anyone would blindly do the work for you_
On that note, why do you think it's that great? I'm generally curious.

I've read a LOT of positive reviews and feedback on it, so I played the trial and I realized it's not for me. Maybe if I were 13, but it feels too childish. That's not a knock on any adults who enjoy it. Just not what I'm into.

^^this
That being said, even if we adopt the idea that there is such a thing, it still seems like a stretch. Great game, but it's hard to imagine many people embracing the idea that this, of all games ever made, is somehow the peak
Why not just play Plants Vs Zombies 2?? Each character is very different from each other and there's tons of other shit to do in the game besides multiplayer. Looks amazing as well.
This forum will NEVER agree on any game being the best, since it is all about personal preferences.
Very true, however it's also worth noting some people (like myself) straight up don't believe a "greatest game of all time" exists.
I like many games, heck I even get starstruck when sequels to my favorites come out. .
Yet never in all the conversations have I called something the "greatest" with so much diversity available. Only if someone has played a limited amount of games can I grasp the thought, otherwise cannot process the concept of someone finding a single game superior to everything.
Can't be done, I can't even pick a personal favorite in a singular genre usually because what they succeed at varies.
Haha....no.
That's an ambiguous and subjective title to give a game anyway, but a multiplayer game surely doesn't deserve it.

I di get where you are comming from. However, for me personally, such a game does exist (Disgaea 1). Back when it released it wowed me more than any other game and no other game ever "wowed" me that much again. I played 1000s (no exaggeration) of games and never got this feeling again. I do however find it hard to name fav. games outside of the SRPG franchises from Nippon Ichi Software
@ArchoNils2: The original Disgaea is a fantastic game. Love that game so very much and still my personal favorite in the series.
I do feel the mechanics have gotten more expansive/ refined/ better, as well as camera control since its release, but what the game achieved and still does is amazing.
Yet even then (as a twelve year old with a Flon poster in my room) don't personally consider it the best game of all time, even in its genre is a stretch. I just consider it to be top tier as both a strategy and a RPG game. So in a sense I do give the series ridiculous praise, but I see it as a standard I expect from both RPGs and Strategy games, it needs to be this good to be worth my time if in the same genre separate genres or hybrid_
When I got Xcom 2 on sale couldn't help compare it to the Makai Senki Disgaea in a variety of ways, and think to myself "it does so many things worse". I ended up uninstalling Xcom 2 and went back to Disgaea 5 on my PS4 :P
@RSM-HQ: I like to see you know the game and see what I see in it. I guess it just had a much bigger impact on me than on you. The games from Nippon Ichi Software are an exception though. I can't really name a fav. game outside NIS titles and there is a wide variety of games I would call top tier for my taste: From Sonic 3 and Knuckles to Final Fantasy 7 to Time Splitters 2 to Starcraft to most Civ games and many more.
