From 10:30 to 11:30 AM PST on Wed, John Schappert, Coporate VP of LIVE, Software and Services for Microsoft will be delivering a keynote entitled A Future Wide Open: Unleashing the Creative Community wherein he will discuss MS' plans for user generated games and content and also reveal and display some of the key software titles for the 360 for 2008.

Hello?

Anybody there?

This is HUGE. If this was E3 or TGS, it would have its own forum and be discussed endlessly. Well, get ready because THIS is going to be huge, for MS in particular.

Alan Wake finally fully exposed? The next Banjo game that is the next step in platform gaming? Fable 2's final innovative gameplay element revealed? Too Human demo on LIVE and a release date? Former big multiplatform title announced as exclusive (dunno how good that is; I like multiplatform games)? Previously unrevealed games key for 2008 finally announced?

Yeah, all of that is possible/likely, so lets get some excitement going for this.

Well, I'm excited, but not for the MS stuff (since I don't own a 360). There's rumors of the new Team Ico game surfacing- THAT is what's getting me excited!

Although I will say the the topic from Schappert could be really good.

Of course, I am making a giant GDC thread tomorrow. I just need the schedule, I think what you put there is on wednesday.dvader654

That's correct. I've made the clarification on my original post. Thanks.

My guess would be dark sector going exclusive. Just a random guess, no theory behind it. I never liked Banjo so I dont care but Fable 2 is probably my most awaited Xbox game. Alan Wake would be second. I personally think Too Human looks bad but thats what demos are for I guess.

While it's no E3 or TGS I'm still excited for GDC. Hopefully there'll be some cool content to download for Microsoft's 'Bringing it Home' campaign.

I'm really looking forward to Fable 2 so anything that comes out on this game will be welcomed. Same goes for Alan Wake. I've been a little back and forth on Too Human but the last two video diarys that I recently saw looked pretty cool and have gotten me pumped for the game so a demo would be great.

Well, I was kinda hoping to actually go this year, but ah well, maybe next year.

But yeah, the user generated content one sounds intriguing. I'll definitely stay tuned for that.
