"Install on another Computer" Steam

Well, i'm installing Assassin's Creed Origins and i see this arrow besides "PLAY" and it says i can install it on my laptop that is beside me.. What will this do? Since my Laptop has better Internet Connection will it use my Laptops internet?

I've never used this feature myself, but.... nothing ventured, nothing gained. Try it and see.

I can't see how it could possibly hurt anything.

I would only install it on the computer you want to play it on. Steam gives you the option to install or stream (ie stream the game to your computer in the living room hooked up to a TV, or a portable tablet, etc...). So install it on the most powerful computer you have.

You can install Steam and games on multiple computers so long as only one is being used (with Steam) at a time.

I have a number of Steam, Origin, and Uplay games on multiple computers.
