With COD XP coming to an end, I think it's becoming more and more clear for everyone that Infinite Warfare did not deserve the hatred it received during its launch trailer reveal.

But then, the ignorance of people fails to surprise me anymore. Take politics for example, I'm pretty sure you could walk around the country nowadays and have so much fun with people saying the most ignorant stuff you would not think you could hear from someone.

It is no different when it comes to video games. I would imagine most of the people who proudly label themselves as legendary gamers are in fact bunch of newbies who can't afford to buy more than 2 games every year, so it's understandable that they would wanna trash all the rest. I mean, I don't really take all these fights between COD and BF too seriously, I buy all the games out there and you could get that if you just opened my trophy page on the PSN but really, I really think it's time we fight the ignorance that is stopping people from enjoying what they would have loved but they don't because they are being self-destructive.

After watching the tremendous COD XP Global Briefing which you can watch below, I decided to take a look at the comments section and see what people are saying.

I came around a few comments I would like to point out to, taken directly from YouTube comments.

PATOOFA19 hours ago: didn't know they were still putting out DLC for Advanced Warfare...

Well, this one is a pure example of ignorance and hatred combined and if you did not know, it's very bad for health. Your brains have been designed to generate positive feelings and energy in order to live longer and function faster and better. When your output is nothing but the meaningless void that is not calculated or processed, your brain starts to wonder why even if you don't realize and reacts negatively which makes you feel like shit.

As most of you realized, Infinite Warfare Multiplayer pretty much looks like Black Ops III Multiplayer in terms of movement and the functionality of Combat Rigs which is close to what we've played and loved as Specialists. Saying that Infinite Warfare is like a DLC for Advanced Warfare which totally used a different system and movement lacks the usual elements jokers use in order to make people laugh, while it also lacks the basic amounts of truths within, enough so we can go with it somewhere. Maybe it was time for PATOOFA19 to stop torturing his brain-cells and give his own brain a pure taste of intelligence and accuracy. Now, let's check out another comment:

Hyperion9 hours ago: call of duty: The Fall of Reach

Well.. I mean, isn't this the best time to declare one minute of silence for the loss of God knows how many brain-cells that could have much more enjoyable outputs? if I'm correct, and correct me if I'm wrong, the Fall of Reach is a comic or something based on the Halo. But then what I can gather from what Mr Hyperison has said is that he is trying to imply that the Infinite Warfare Multiplayer is a copy paste from Halo Multiplayer or something like that, right? I mean what else could it be? But then, I watched COD Multiplayer trailer again and I failed to find anything that would remind me of Halo. Halo does not feature a fast paced Multiplayer like Call of Duty does, I mean sure as hell, Infinite Warfare may look like Halo but it is not anything like Halo in terms of guns, movement system, abilities, equipment, modes and pretty much everything, it's just that Call of Duty totally feels different. It's a different shooter that would be enjoyable in aspects that would not be featured in Halo.

Had Halo decided to do a World War 1 game this year, it wouldn't have affected Battlefield 1 sales at all because these two shooter games feel absolutely different and they should not be compared. It is not like that if you like Halo, you couldn't like BF1 or the reverse, not at all. The same goes for Call of Duty and every other shooter game out there. Even Halo 5 feels different than Destiny and one could love them to their death at the same time while they both feel very different. You would know what I mean if you've played Halo 5 and Destiny. With our best wishes for Mr Hyperison's mental health and his well-being, we move on to the next comment:

DatBoiDylan10 hours ago: So... Basically Overwatch with the classes and stuff? Yeah. I'll stick to Overwatch... and Titanfall

I don't know if you guys have noticed but some people literally act like they've been just born. Out of the blue, like a Vex machine creating a time bridge to restore a Nexus Mind. Came out of nowhere.

Dat Boi Dylan is one such.

As I've stated above, or not, Black Ops 3 was a very successful Multiplayer, it was addictive and fun at the same time but not innovative and that was pretty cool with most of us who made it to the Prestige Master level. The reason I think it was not innovative is because I'm pretty sure it had gotten its Specialist ideas from Destiny. While Call of Duty can always do fine on its own without having to copy paste from any other shooter of the same publisher cuz it's of course Call of Duty, adding a few ideas from other developers could always pump up the adrenaline in our blood and for our own sake cuz surely we are the same fans who were asking for innovation in Call of Duty many years ago when we were busy with Modern Warfare series, sure we grew some muscles and other stuff on us but we are the same people.

Having been a successful combination of Call of Duty and Destiny, Black Ops 3 became a role model for Blizzard to come up with its own cartoon shooter named Overwatch. It is named copy and pasting but it's not an easy job to combine Call of Duty with Destiny but Treyarch made it all easy for Blizzard to come up with Overwatch. Overwatch was however an easy copy paste from Black Ops 3 which is why it surprises me to see Day Boi Named Dylan speaks as if Overwatch has always been there even before Black Ops 3 and Destiny. Even tho Overwatch gets boring after a few weeks unlike BO3 and is a complete copy paste, I promise we didn't invade its trailers' comments section on YouTube. And did I hear someone say Titanfall? Please.. I played Titanfall 2 Beta and I must say you gotta be careful with that game. Unbalanced, Call of Duty wannabe, lack of innovation and even lack of enough copy pastes make Titanfall 2 a total garbage not worthy of a penny I've spent for Modern Warfare Remastered. I'm pretty sure developers at the Respawn had no idea what they've been making or wanted to make.

Conclusion

There's no conclusion here, just try a game before trashing it, try their BETA. Titanfall 2 deserved all the hatred Infinite Warfare received and who would have thought? Me, of course, I've always said not to judge a game before trying their BETA. Even as tho Infinite Warfare looks cool and is probably gonna be cool cuz Black Ops 3 was really good except for its campaign unlike how IW's campaign gonna be, I'm still holding my breath for its BETA in October after being done with Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1. But then I couldn't control myself so I pre ordered Infinite Warfare Digital Deluxe. I really enjoyed writing this article and I hope you enjoyed reading it, cuz if you didn't, well, your loss.

@tomclancyhaha: I've taken a look at the multiplayer announcement segment and i have to say that it looks pretty solid. I had fun with the Black Ops III multiplayer for a while. If i can get a cheap pre-order code i might very well pick it up.

Altough it's a close call between this and Battlefield 1 to be honest. Dat Beta, haha!

@lucidique: like i said, battlefield and call of duty are different games and they cannot be compared with each other. battlefield cant satisfy your call of duty thirsts and call of duty cant fill in battlefield's shoes. if you want a more strategic shooter with realism and massive scale and vehicles and also a casual slow shooter, bf1 is you choice, but if you want an adrenaline pumping close quarters intense combat with modes such as search and destory, iw is your choice. plus, iw deluxe edition that costs 100$ is a package well worth the price with modern warfare remastered and season pass for infinite warfare, each for 20 dollars.

@tomclancyhaha: No, they absolutely can be compared. They are both shooters going for my 60 bucks. Theme and game play mechanics aside, they are both games. As much as i enjoyed the beta, if Dice ships this with 5 maps, they aren't getting my moolah.

I don't get that argument that COD and BF are not at all to be compared. They both aim for exactly the same thing, your purse. It's like saying lemon and chocolate Ice cream are not both desserts to be bought at the parlor...

I really couldn't get through all that drivel, there hasn't been a good cod for a long time (Blops was the last good one IMO). Until they start using a new game engine (they're still using the quake engine) and new netcode this series is dead to me. All the hate and negative comments it gets it 100% deserves.

@vfighter: so what's the problem? Black Ops 3 looks really good. Battlefield games also have been using the same engine for over 8 years now and no one complains about that while all Battlefield games look the same as their engine is being improved over the years just like COD's, so your argument is invalid. Titanfall 2 also uses the same engine, so why isn't that game getting all the hate? Battlefield also looks like Star Wars Battlefont, same engine as Battlefield 3. You are being biased.

I stopped caring about CoD a long time ago. I don't even have the energy to hate it. It's pure indifference now.

@turtlethetaffer: Nothing will ever replace Search and Destroy, maybe you should try the mode in a friend's house sometime and then your indifference may turn into excitement.

@tomclancyhaha: Nah, I'm good. Shooters have to be done in a specific way for me to get excited about them these days, and CoD does not do it in that way.

@tomclancyhaha: Fast paced, focused on challenging gunplay. Either that or something strategic a la TF2 or Killing Floor.

Lol what? It looks like the same generic garbage as the last 6 or so games. It barely even counts as an fps anymore with the amount of movement crutches and auto-aim jammed in.

No, they can't be compared (other than existing in the same genre).

One is a class-based, military-themed game that encourages team work and strategy, and takes place on large maps with vehicles at a slower pace.

The other has more in common with the arena shooters of the '90s and early '00s, takes place on small maps, and is fast paced and frenetic.

I won't sit here and argue over what's better or how I hate one over the other (I'm done with that), but they are completely different games. I don't see how any gamer worth their salt can't see that.

@mrbojangles25: Aside from the vehicular combat mechanic, they are the same game. They offer a different theme, sure, but they are both games where you aim down your sight, accumulate points by either killing an opponent or reaching some kind of objective milestone. That the map is small and that the gunplay is more frantic does not change the fact that they are both fuckin millitary shooters.

And it's not about you hating one or the other, you fail to see the point. The point of the conversation is that both games are offering to go down on you The question is, are you going to go for the timid bookworm that's an history buff or the class vixen that popped a pill before excitingly getting to the action?

They both cather to the 25 - 35 years old demographic that's got 60 bucks of disposable income. So again, it's either you like chocolate or mint. Case closed.

Quick edit to add a last bit : We can agree to disagree. This is a pointless conversation. The games have some core differences and we both see them. That's all that matters.

I don't understand, you say they are the same, but then you use not one but two analogies (two different women, two different flavors) showcasing how things are different.

I am seriously considering getting both games because they are so different (that depends if Titanfall is more like CoD or BF, though).

I imagine this is just something we will have to agree to disagree on, though :D

@mrbojangles25: Agreed, they both seem like solid titles. Carry on!
