I could see it happening as long as the Wii-U is roughly equal enough in power as the Xbox 3 and PS4 so it can get the same multiplatform games. Could even work out pretty well managing battles/organising the menu via the tablet controller.

I'd rather keep my eyes on the screen than have to switch constantly from the screen to the tablet.

Well, considering the WII-U is going HD, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a multiplat on there, and why would I care? More people can appreciate it. All this crap about the series in decline is merely subjective, it's fine IMO.
As a FF fan I couldn't care less what system its on. While I do agree with some people on here that the franchise isn't what it used to be, I still think its fine as a whole and still relevant. Still waiting for Versus though.:cry:
Well Final Fantasy did originate and was on Nintendo systems until FFVII so any "fanboy" of the series would know that. Personally I wouldn't mind if the Wii U did have a version of any subsequent main FF games as long as they were multiplats so I can have the choice of which version I wanted. I also think the FF franchise is still very good.

I'd rather keep my eyes on the screen than have to switch constantly from the screen to the tablet. Actually thats a very good point, its fine switching between screens on a DS/3DS but between a tablet controller and a tv, not so much.
