28. I remember having to stand on a chair to play Ms Pacman when my mom went to do laundry across the street. Looking back..... so many good memories :)
im 26 in a couple months (2) and i was lucky enough to be at the epicenter of game awesomeness when i was coming up. had the genisis at launch, the ps1/n64 at launch...the game changer was most likly ps1/64...after that gaming became necessity numbro uno.

Almost 21, and I like playing classic games from the 90's and early 00's when I was growing up. I also like getting some classic games and systems that I missed out on.
16, newer games tend to be way too easy for my tastes. Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania, Contra, all those great NES games are just more fun to me. Mind you, I still play new games occasionally too. The NES will always be my favorite system though.
I'm 22 right now. So yeah, I'm one of the people who grew up with my NES and all my other old stuff. I just missed out on some of the things I would have loved to have had like a Satrun, since I was too young to work and buy one for myself.

I'm 27 and from time to time I'll pop in a retro game. Sometimes it's due to something reminding me of how much I enjoyed a certain game or to play a retro game that I might have missed out on.
18, atari 2600 and mega drive are probably my earliest gaming memories i also played alot of N64 and gameboy. Today i have NES, SNES, N64, gamecube, PS2 and mega drive set up in my room.

Ain't that the truth, brother :D! We're so spoiled... I used to go nuts for Keystone Kapers. Now the sound alone kind of irritates me.
I had an Atari 2600 first. But I didn't like video games, really, until we got an NES. Then I completely fell in love with gaming. I thought Dig Dug, Space Invaders, Galaga, and Phoenix were all kinda fun, but they just didn't capture my imagination the way Super Mario Bros. 1 & 3, TMNT 2 The Arcade Game, Contra, or The Legend of Zelda did. Then I stayed gaming through the 16-bit era, into the 3D era, and right up until the last-generation. I've been too poor to get into the next-gen systems, so I'm exploring all the system of my past: NES, Master System, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, Saturn, PS1, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, XBox, Gamecube, GBA, and Game Gear. -Nate-
21 I grew up playing the Master System with my first game that was Alex Kidd in Miracle World due to it been built in the Master System already. Also the Atari 7800 which I used to play Mario Bros the arcade version and that classic Atari game Food Fight. Then I got consoles like the Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, Dreamcast and so on. I've actually been playing a lot of the Master System lately I've been playing Sonic, Bank Panic and TransBot.

You're not that old. There are people today in their 50s and 60s playing video games now. Although you may seem old compared to all the teens here, even I do.

I just turned 18 on January and I like playing retro games. I mostly play them on the Wii Virtual Console though. xD Gotta love the Wii Shop Channel :D
I'm 15. The first system I ever got was my GBA and my first game was Super Mario World (GBA Port). I think that being my first game made me respect older games. On top of that I love the cartridges, the manuals, the boxes, the hardware, and of course the gameplay. I just really love retro gaming.
I'm 19 so reliving SNES onwards and enjoying the rest I missed out on as I go. I missed the whole arcade thing so I decided to build myself and arcade cabinet this summer. Gonna be epic
