28. I remember having to stand on a chair to play Ms Pacman when my mom went to do laundry across the street. Looking back..... so many good memories :)
Well I have an Nes, Snes, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox 360 and I'm only 13
Took me quite awhile to get all the systems and games that I have
im 26 in a couple months (2) and i was lucky enough to be at the epicenter of game awesomeness when i was coming up. had the genisis at launch, the ps1/n64 at launch...the game changer was most likly ps1/64...after that gaming became necessity numbro uno.
18. My reason for getting into retro gaming is that i was never fortunate enough to own a console before the PS2. So i am playing all the games i missed out on as a kid. I still buy PS2 and Xbox games from time to time my most recent purchase being Conker Live and reloaded for the Xbox. But my main passion being Ps1, dreamcast and the sega megadrive.

I'm 20, been playing games since I was 3. Fondest memories include stuff like Sonic, Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, etc.
16, newer games tend to be way too easy for my tastes. Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania, Contra, all those great NES games are just more fun to me. Mind you, I still play new games occasionally too. The NES will always be my favorite system though.
I'm 22 right now. So yeah, I'm one of the people who grew up with my NES and all my other old stuff. I just missed out on some of the things I would have loved to have had like a Satrun, since I was too young to work and buy one for myself.
I was born in 1980. But while I grew up playing all those games that are now considered ****cs and "retro", I don't really feel nostalgia for playing games.
In fact I already had an Atari 2600 when I was born, and while I have fond memories of those Atari games, personally now I couldn't bare playing most of them.
Ain't that the truth, brother :D! We're so spoiled... I used to go nuts for Keystone Kapers. Now the sound alone kind of irritates me.I was born in 1980. But while I grew up playing all those games that are now considered ****cs and "retro", I don't really feel nostalgia for playing games.

21 I grew up playing the Master System with my first game that was Alex Kidd in Miracle World due to it been built in the Master System already. Also the Atari 7800 which I used to play Mario Bros the arcade version and that classic Atari game Food Fight. Then I got consoles like the Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, Dreamcast and so on. I've actually been playing a lot of the Master System lately I've been playing Sonic, Bank Panic and TransBot.
24, grew up with the NES. 'Rents had a 2600 from before I was born. Mom chucked it after the divorce.
I'm 38 which is extremely old in the videogaming Universe. I just bought another Super Nintendo. So it is remembering the Epic "Golden Age of Gaming" for Me. I remember when The SNES was first released. Some people here were not even born yet.. So I am Old. I'll still be playing when Sony releases Playstation 9

You're not that old. There are people today in their 50s and 60s playing video games now. Although you may seem old compared to all the teens here, even I do.
