My Wii is the only next-gen console that I own. But, I play any of my games whenever I feel like it, because I don't judge by age.
In fact, yesterday I played Spyro the Dragon on my Playstation for a few hours.
And today, I spent two hours playing Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on my Sega Nomad (that's right, the handheld Sega Genesis / Mega Drive that I'm sure very few people here have). F**king Launch Base Zone...
I only have the wii, and 3 games: wii sports, mario strikers charged and super smash bros brawl, but play vaguely.
Play most PlasyStation 2, I mean there are so many games that a life game can not last to play them all, and since I have a lot of gamecube games play some on the wii. Really I'm not that excited to hope in the "actual" game generation
Since my Wii is capable of GC compatibility, I sold my Gamecube on ebay to a guy in Argentina. I still, however, play the good old PS2, as it has a great RPG line up like its father the Playstation before it, along with some fun action titles like God of War, Jak and Daxter, Drakengard, Odin Sphere, list just goes on. I even still play on my old Nintendo 64, finally getting a chance to play Perfect Dark and Doom 64 after all these years of wanting to (Couldn't originally because my parents wouldn't let me play M rated games when I was a kid).Myviewing
i share your position, for the most part. i was old enough to play those games when they came out but couldn't afford them. i must commend your parents though, because i think its cool when i hear about parents being concerned enough about their children to try and protect them from this mess that is the world today. oh snap my beer is broken
I own a Wii which hasnt been used since Mario Galaxy came out unfortunately. I also own a 360 and a ton of games for it. But right next to it, and up until my recent drive to get 20k gamerpoints before GTA IV (Which i achieved as of last night) i was playing my NES just as much. The two shelves are right next to each other lol, 50something NES games beside a similar number of 360 games. With PS2 games surrounding them both, that sees just as much play as well.
My SNES. DC and MegaDrive are all set up, but dont see as much play as i would like.
me :) but i might end up selling my PS2 and Gamecube will all the games tomorrow to get PS3.. real soon i'll be next gen :P
Way too many games that I have yet to play on the the Cube, XBox and PS2. I fell a gen behind when my daughter was born but it's just as well, I don't see that anything current is worth a weeks pay.
I do get small fixes of modern gaming systems in other people's homes and that seems like plenty for now.
I mostly play RPGs, and there's only a handful of them on the next gen system, why bother when there's 105002e502935 million of them on the PS2 that I haven't played yet?zh666
Agreed, this gen does not have that many RPGs. Also there are too many ps2 games that I need to play.
