Here is my Game of the Year 2013, What is yours?

This year picking up the winner was the most difficult ever. It had become impossible to me to choose between the GTA V and the last of us and I almost decided to have two co game of the years this year but in the end there can be only one victorious. So for me it was the last of us that deserves to be game of the year. I am sure that after watching this video you will agree with me, so do watch the clip below and also give your pick for the game of the year 2013.

I'm finishing up The Last of Us today, and I have to finish GTA V after finals before I decide.

I choose Pikmin 3. Gameplay and quality design are the biggest factors for scoring the GOTY title from me and Pikmin 3 was just simply leagues above anything else.

Those challenge maps have been designed to absolute perfection. Its all about mastering multitasking and putting the right number of pikmin to work on the right thing at the right time while making sure the right leader has the right set of pikmin types. It gets incredibly complicated and the timing for a platinum medal is extremely unforgiving. Having access to the gamepad replay is also a great tool. It allows you to look over all the work you've done on a previous challenge attempt to see where you can improve or if there is a better set of paths to take.

The Last of Us

A very tough choice between Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us.

I don't think any 10/10 games were released this year, but there were a lot of superb games and GTA V was my favorite

Last of Us, followed closely by Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider.

I'd have to say GTA V, in my opinion, it isn't the best GTA but it's easily one of the best, if not, thee best game released this year. I felt it was a little short and maybe didn't offer enough in the single-player that past GTA games have which is kind of a shame. I can't really comment on the multiplayer, haven't played enough of it to really comment on it but it didn't really interest me. Even though it sounds like I'm slagging it off here, I still think it's a great game, the graphics are beautiful and the vehicles are awesome, it's just GTA: Vice City and San Andreas has lasted me 9 years and GTA IV has lasted me 5 years while it's been like 3 months since the release of V and after completing the story, I haven't touched it at all. I've managed to pick up Bioshock: Infinite and Metro: Last Light off the Steam sale but I've yet to install/play them, will hopefully get round to that at some point to see what they have to offer.

i would take bioshock infinite, metro: last light and remember me...

but i have to choose 1, so Bioshock is my choice :)

The Last of Us. but GTA.V and AC4 is great too

Mine is Dragon's Crown

GTA 5 by a long shot. I loved how they incorporated the use of multiple characters and how you can switch between them during a heist. The online also was executed precisely.
