I just got rid of my PS3 for the Xbox 360, and I'm wondering what the easiest way to get Xbox Live is for someone in my situation. I can't hard wire because my Dad would shoot me if he knew I was connected to his modem. I have a wireless rotor, and I'm willing to buy a wireless card if it exists. I have a credit card but it's maxed out. Can I pay for the subscription some other way? And how can I connect without running an ethernet from my Xbox to my modem?
You can buy the XBL gold subscription as a card from a shop (so you can pay with cash or another card), it comes with a code on it which you enter on your console, when you are all hooked up to the internet. You can connect wirelessly, using the Official Xbox Wireless Adapter...but it is a bit pricey!
You can purchase the online from a shop in the form of a years gold subsrciption/ You'll have to buy a wireless adapter to play without an ethernet cable. Unfortunately, they are very expensive :(
