Help with choosing a game similar to...

Hey guys,

I need help with choosing PC game similar to Tomb Raider 2013 (loved the action, story and adventure), Call of Juarez: Gunslider (loved the action and story), Sleeping dogs: Definitive edition (loved the realistic open world, story and fights), Lost planet 2 (don't remember it much, but I liked it really a lot too), Devil May Cry (liked how psycho it was), AC: Black Flag (pirates, nothing's better than pirates), etc.

I just don't like new games like GTA 5, Far Cry 4, Darksouls 2 something sins, Divinity: original sins....

I'm looking for some adventurous game with a good story, I dont care wheter it's old (not 2000 pls) or new. Just some good story that I can penetrate to.

Well if you haven't played the original Lost Planet it is superb

@meathead373: Is the 3rd good too ? I'll play the 1st, but I'm kind of curious about the 3rd aswell. :D

@svoby: Never bothered it looked like a dead space clone,so if you wanted more of what the originals were it's not them, hell I never played 2 past the demo either,really didn't like it as much

It not a bad game and has little to nothing to do with Dead Space. It is an odd game in the right way if you not looking for a pure shooter or horror game. It has shooting elements but for me it one of the best game to show what it would be like to live on an icy planet.

@wiouds: hmm I didn't follow it much just what I had seen looked very wrong much less arcade-y than the original

Try it out. I not saying it a great game but it is a different type of game.

^Agreed. Binary Domain is a great game, levels aren`t as polished or detailed as in Gears series but it`s lots of fun & story is pretty decent. Definitely one of the best Japanese games i played last gen. PoP 2008 is also very good if you like platformers.

If you don't mind JRPG's I'll plug Persona 3/4. Great story, memorable characters and amazing music.

Max Payne 1 and 2.

Uncharted. Even though its for the PS3, its still an amazing series. Plus, Uncharted 4 comes out within the next year. Dead Space is an amazing series, but this is also on the PS3. Basically...you would probably be better off going back to the older consoles. The newer generation of games suck. There are a lot of games coming out this year, but I am still apprehensive because developers are screwing over gamers more and more. But they won't do anything to fix it because even though someone will pay $60 for a new game, if DLC is released a week later for $30, people will still buy it. Sad. Without going into a huge rant....I'm just tired of developers trying to get more money out of us for something that should have been included in the first place.

@svoby: I think you should try Earn to Die V1 or part 2. It is really good for action and adventure!

@svoby: Since you mentioned Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, you should try first 2 games if you haven`t already. I only played the second & it is a very fun Western themed FPS.

And i agree with both Max Payne games, great gameplay, story & atmosphere in the second game is some of the best you`ll find.
