Halo 3 box cover art? Bleeehhh!

Somebody please tell me that this isn't the final box art for the regular edition of Halo 3.:roll:

If so, I will be forced to trade my 360 for a PS3, donate that PS3 and all my other worldly possessions to charity and take a vow of poverty, shave my head, become a monk, and audition to be one of the singing monks for the Halo 4 soundtrack.

I agree with all you guys...thats a pretty bad final cover. hopefully it wont be the finshed prodcut...cuz lets face it...LOL that blows!

I fail to see how that, in any way, is a bad cover art. I'm not a fan of Halo at all, but that's actually a pretty decent box cover. Could someone explain to me what the hell's supposed to be bad about it?Teuvan

the company who makes makes halo, bungie, is known to make badass for their halo cover's. Also their covers arts aremade upof computer graphics, which that one is a concept art. Remember guy's,Bungie will test on what the cover art for regular edition will be. We might find out either E3 or weeks till the game isrelease.

It seems to be lacking in the 'awesome' department.

Better than the Mass Effect cover at least. If there's a limited edition coming alongside, companies usually save the more artistic approach for those. But it is just a box that will eventually sit on my self with only the spine showing, so no big deal for me.

I hear you. I love goodbox art and instruction booklets with lots of pretty pictures, but I once I actually start the game, all of that kind of falls to the wayside. That Halo 3 box does look bad though.
