Mario & luigi Super star Saga that game is juat plain fun
also I would recommend Metroid zero mission
metroid zero mission is great. it's a high-powered action game in the 2D sidescrolling mould. it's got a perfect balance of shooting and exploring. you get new abilities as well, which add to the variety of the experience.
I would say you should pick up the Castlevania GBA games for sure. All 3 of them.

watch out. castlevania games are hard.. like 'classic' difficulty. bosses are just a nightmare. they're not as well paced as the metroids and have rather cheap enemies.

the game is weird in some partsMetroid: Zero Mission, anything in the Classic NES Series, Super Mario World, Pokemon games (I like Leaf green and fire red which are remakes of the original ones), Zelda: a Link to the Past/4 swords
the golden suns are awesome, and the GBCpokemon remakegames (fire red)are okay if you played them as a kid.
GBA has a lot of great games for it, in fact I still play my GBA-SP more than any other handheld system I own. But a good majority of the great games on it are actually NES or Super Nintendo remakes such as: Super Mario Advance 1-4, all the NES Classic Series, Chrono Trigger, Zelda: A Link to the Past,Breath of Fire, and many others. Which are all great games, don't get me wrong, but I don't really count remakes.
After all those remakes (and not counting the countless awesome Gameboy Color and Classic games), there really aren't all that many great games that are exclusively GBA, but here'sthe top GBAgames I'vereally enjoyed over the years:

I like them because I know all the pokemon. I don't know that many past the original 150. I'm working on Ruby and I'm ONLY training pokemon from the original 150 (and mudkip :D). I haven't gotten any of the DS pokemon games but I'm gonna try Soul Silver because apparently it has all 150 of the original. idk if its a direct remake like fire red though(with only the original 150).

- Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
- Doom II
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
- MegaMan Zero Series
- Metal Slug Advance
- Metroid: Fusion
- Metroid: Zero Mission
- Sonic Advance 1-3

i found the sonic advance games kind of sloppy myself. they just felt really unfriendly to play, switching between fast automatic racing, platform-hopping and horrible, horrible underwater sections. the music also really got on my nerves!
It depends on what you like
Golden Sun is good
the Mega Man Zero's and Mega Man and Bass are good.
Gunstar Heroes is short but it is a blast
I liked the Sonic advance games. I mean some of the new moves were weird like pushing up and R in mid air to avoid falling in a specific level was bit awkward.
Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission are worth it
Ninja Five O or as it is known in Europe Ninja Cop is good.
Turok Evolution is cool for GBA
Even if your not a Dragonball fan DBZ Legacy of Goku 2 was a relatively awsome and so was Dragonball adeventure.
All 3 Castlevania's are good
Sigma Star Saga
F-Zero GP Legend/Legend of Falcon is a good F-zero game. If you can import and play F-Zero Climax that is also a great game.
Mario Kart super circut is cool.
Doom and Doom 2 are cool even though they are not as good as the original PC versions.
Kirby and the amazing mirror and nightmare in dreamland are great games.
Wario Ware
Wario Land 4
Gradois Galaxies
Guardian Heroes
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Mario and Luigi Super Star Saga
If your into or do not own classics there are
Mario World
Yoshi's Island
Final Fantasy 1 an 2
Final Fantasy 4
Final Fantasy 5
Final Fantasy 6
The Donkey Kong Country's
Contra 3, which is a bit different than the original
I am pretty sure I missed tons of games. GBA rocked with titles.
- Kingdom Heats Chain of Memories (NOT THIS)
- Legend of Zelda Minish Cap
- Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga
- Final Fantasy IV
- Sonic Advance 3 (NOT THIS)
- Klonoa Empire of Dreams and Dream Champ Tournament (NOT THIS)
- MegaMan Zero 4

I must say that Minish Cap and Superstar Saga are my favs, I consider both of them as the best GBA games ever; now you consider having those. :)
