good tony hawk game

hey guys, i've been craving a good tony hawk game and i've been looking at the reviews for proving ground and gamespot says it isnt too good. The consoles i have are Wii, ps2, and DS. If i were to get proving ground, which console would you suggest, or are there any other good tony hawk games?

Why not go out and buy 3 since the Wii can play GC games. And btw there is a floated thread for your question. Or buy 3 for the ps2 since it got, I dunno if it matters really, a perfect 10.

As a major Tony Hawk's Pro Skater fan, here is my advice to you. Avoid Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam at all costs. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and Tony Hawk's Underground on the PS2 are the games you want to play. Trust me. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 is alright, but I still feel Gamespot rated it too high and I'd say it's easily the worst of the Pro Skater series (meaning THPS1-4). Tony Hawk's Underground 2 was probably the worst in the series upon it's release, but it's decent. Just go with THPS3 and THUG1, both games should be really cheap if you can find them.

You can say that again man tony hawk games now days are total crap nothing as fun and enjoyable as the old ones like tony hawk 3 :(

I have Tony Hawk Underground (PS2), and it is great. No wonder it was an editors' choice. Though I've been stuck in a certain mission.

IMO, Underground was the last "good" Tony Hawk game.

I thought Tony Hawk's Project 8 was great and quite underrated. Though don't play it on PS2, that version is supposed to suck. I haven't yet playing Proving Ground.
