Gone but not Forgotten! What CIassics do you want to Return in the Next Gen?

Between the Wii Virtual Console, XBLA and the SEN Store (still can't get used to that) we've seen the return of some great, great 8, 16-bit and higher games. Kid Icarus returned. Ogre Battle 64 was made available to a whole new generation of gamers. Sin and Punishment finally arrived on Western Shores, along with Alien Soldier and Gradius 2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were unleashed on XBLA and SEN. Guardian Heroes and Radiant Silvergun were revived to thrill a whole new crop of players! Rarities like God Hand, Ogre Battle (PSOne) and the soon to be released Digital Devil Saga games get a second chance at life as well! There have been some odd omissions though; some Dreamcast titles have returned, but what about the Saturn? There are STILL a ton of 3rd party games that haven't been brought back either! This topic will be devoted to the memory and hopeful revival of the OTHER games we are all still waiting for! I will start with some suggestions!

How many times will we be teased that SOMEONE is doing a port or remake of Dragon Force, only to have the rumors die along with our hopes? Didn't someone also rumor recently that Victor Ireland and Working Design games were going to be coming back to the market? What happened?!

NOT COOL, SEGA! NOT COOL... AT. ALL!

I want to see a new Killer Instinct and a Chrono sequel.

Technically, all the games you mentioned ARE available for download this generation, except for Turok, which got a *cough!* remake and Jak and Daxter, which got it's HD Collection...

...but it is strange for Capcom (known for its series milkages) to let one just fade away to obscurity! Could you IMAGINE a Dino Crisis with RE4 or 5 styIe controls?! :o

I am playing Breath of Fire 4 as one of the PSOne CIassics on SEN. I guess I broke my own rule --BUT-- Dragon Quarter was such a departure and unique game that it hardly feels like it's a part of the same series!

I wouldn't mind seeing a new Strider.

I'd also like to see another 2D Disney game in the vein of Castle of Illiusion. I also find myself missing the shooting gallery-type games like Operation Wolf, T2, and even the Rambo game on the Genesis. I'd dig seeing some new awesome shooting gallery stuff with snazzy new graphics and expanded mechanics. Capcom should also bring out a new 2D variant of Trojan (the NES release) on XBLA and PSN.

Also, the fact that Nintendo failed to release the one game that would've made me forgive them for the Wii (and the one game that would have fit it hand in glove -- Gumshoe) just shows how sucky Nintendo really is.

Another one I'd like to see redone was the absolutely killer SpiderMan game for the Genesis.

That series needs to make a return, especially a sequel to Super Double Dragon, one of my favorite SNES games of all time.

Also, good call on Demon's Crest for SNES. That game was AWESOME!

Operation WinBack and Street of rage. i got a lot of idea and more, i want also i good FPS from the nintendo side with the kind of Gameplay like Perfect dark and GoldenEye but can custom a lot, characters ways and weapons.
