I'll just stick to the year 2010 or I'll be here all night (I like a lot of games)

Don't think 2010 was a memorable year for me overall, not in quantity/ quality games anyway. Monster Hunter: Portable 3rd came out but was pretty rough at launch so I won't count it, and even then it was tough convincing my party to play on PS3 over the handheld versions.

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX the only game I recall at atop my head worth mentioning, low-key one of my favorite video games ever made.

Just looked up and appears Super Mario Galaxy 2 also came out in 2010, from a pure gameplay perspective a better game than the first, yet for many just more of the same and lacked that originality the first one delivered.

Super Street Fighter IV should probably get some credit too, back when SF wasn't deprived of basic features. While this would be far from the last big expansion for SFIV, Super was the one that gave us Juri. So you know. . I'm optimistic that VI will get me back into SF.

Despite the industry's best effort to sabatoge itself, there were actually a lot of good games released in this time period.
