Gans not directing Silent Hill 2, 9/08 tentative date

Just did some checking, it looks like Gans is involved with another project so he will not be director this time around, although he'll stay involved. It also said the visual atmosphere of the first film will be retained.

That's still bad news to me. Silent Hill wasn't perfect, but I thought he still did a good job.
