Mercenaries (The xbox games.)
Gears of War (As long as it's pg-13.)
Mirror's Edge
Spongebob (As long as they have the good writers.)
Halo (Never played it but plan to.)
Marble Blast (No clue why.)
I think that's it.

Gears of War (As long as it's pg-13.)
Raikoh_
Get out. Get out and never return!
Agreed
None! I have not seen a game based movie that I have remotely enjoyed or could say is critically interesting.
just the thread i need to express myself. there are several games i want a movie adaptation of it. mind me saying some stuff not related to topic.
mass effect - it's going to be hard to pull off, but if it's done right, i will be brilliant. i hope if it was made, alan rickman would be casted as ambassador udina, he seems suitable for the role. it would be nice too if zachary quinto got cast as kaidan. i'm not sure if this is a good idea, but allysa milano might work as ashley. keith david should be captain anderson, he did well enough in mass effect.
gears of war - the ot wanted a pg-13 adaptation, honestly i don't care what the rating is like, as long as they get it right. i think if the movie concentrates more on marcus and dom's backstory, it would work better, rather than just putting in some mindless action scenes. i my idea for a cast would be thomas jane as marcus fenix, bruce willis as hoffman, thomas haden church as baird, lester speight as cole, glenn close as myrrah and scarlett johansen as anya.
fear - i've never played this game before, but i played fear 2, and i'm interested in the story a bit. i think the movie should focus more on the father daughter relationship between harlan wade and alma. since i havent played this game much, i dont think my idea for a cast will be good, but i have my ideas anyway. i would cast liam neeson as harlan wade, edward norton/cillian murphy as paxton fettel, christian bale as point man, and emma roberts/evanna lynch (she played luna lovegood harry potter 5 and 6) as alma.
wolfenstein - i don't know much about this game either, but the game concept about the nazi magic thingy seems interesting to me. gerard butler looks like a person who can play b.j. blaszckowicz (did i spell the name right?).
I'm really looking forward to the Gears of War movie coming out. Wouldn't Mind seeing a Metal Gear Solid movie and/or a Halo movie would be pretty awesome too.
Team Fortress 2, Valve would make it by themselves because its animation pixar look anyway. Search them up on youtube. They are called
Meet the Sniper
Meet the Heavy
Meet the Spy
Meet the demoman
Meet the Soldier
Meet the scout
Meet the engineer
And I think those are all of the ones made so far
Golden Sun, Shin Megami Tensei DS, uncharted (heard they're making already) usually when they try to make a game into a movie or vice versa they mess up but yeah would love to see them try :D
I would like to see a resident evil movie based off of the FIRST GAME...LessThanMike
This and Deus EX
Two movies in particular.
1) Fallout. I would LOVE to see a postapocalyptic Fallout movie with the same comedy and gore and badassedness of Fallout 2. And the nice thing is that the series is vast enough that the filmmakers wouldn't evn have to follow any particular story. They could make up whatever story they wanted. As long as they got the overall tone right, the movie would work.
2) Contra. Yeah, I know that Contra isn't too heavy on story. I don't care. Make it dark and nasty and then fill it with lots of ****ed up robots and aliens getting obliterated with the most badass weaponry imaginable, and that's all you'd need. Ideally Stallone and Schwarzenegger would have been the Contra Guys, just running through the whole movie totally ****ing Everything Up. Arnie is unfortunately out of the question, but I hear that Stallone is still kicking ass as Rambo. Pair him up with a younger version of Arnie, make the movie badass, hard R, and very very nasty, and you've got your movie. It's freaking Contra. It doesn't have to be "good", it just has to be "unrelentingly badass".
