Games like Prey or Dark Souls

Far Cry 5 seems good, but apparently my favorite Far Cry 2's aspect was gone forever in this series. I like to play games like Bloodborne, Prey, or Resident Evil. I wanna explore deep dungeons, feel difficulties, and fight more fearsome enemies in a very narrow area. I know Dark Souls Remaster is coming but I already have played long ago.(I will still play though) SOTFS is a remake. And I heard Prey was a remake too. Where is the new one? Why did every game company in the world stop creating better challenges? Even the From Software, which I admired a lot, seems turning into one of them judging by dark souls 3's too many simplified elements.

prey isn't a remake. it's a rebooted game. i believe it had zero to do with its predecessor but can't confirm for sure.

Nioh? it might not have the atmosphere youre looking for, but its a challenge for sure.
