I'm just curious to see how many other games there are that share the aesthetic of these two games - an old, run down part of town that still looks like it's lived in. Have any other games been able to capture that atmosphere, without going too overboard into horror or sci-fi territory?

The sequel to Condemned is pretty good, has every bit of the same atmosphere and improves upon the combat.

The Metro games also have a feel like this, although it's a nuclear aftermath type situation. Fallout 3 as well, but again the nuclear bomb thing.

I have to agree with Blueresident87 on Condemned 2. It was a great game. The others that I can think of go into either sci-fi or horror. Deus Ex the original and human revolution, vampire the masquerade. I'd even throw assassin's creed syndicate up there as it portrays 19th century Victorian england and the game also has several missions where you investigate crime scenes and solve murders.

Condemned 2 is good but goes full supernatural.

F.E.A.R. might be the thing for you, but again: supernatural. The entire Deus Ex series handles that pretty damn well.

Max Payne 1/2 setting has a close resemblance to Kingpin, minus the Dark Deco.

But... Condemned is horror.

Yeah, Kingping and Condemned are two completely different games.

As for something similar, have to agree with rogmiick25 - Deus Ex and Bloodlines.
