Game series that prioritize your backlog?

I'm sure many of us buy many games and as a result we accumulate a hefty backlog. That said is there a game series where if a new game comes out, it prioritizes your backlog instead of sitting in the back of the line?

I'm like that when it comes to Pokémon. It's a series I adore and am most familiar with so I know I can finish it pretty easily and quickly while still enjoying it. Then I can move on to my backlog again.

Metal Gear Solid.

Some game series that I drop everything and try to play right away when a new game comes out are:

- Halo

- Gears of War

- Call of Duty

- Forza

- Street Fighter

- Tekken

- Blazblue

- Marvel vs Capcom

Usually games with a strong multiplayer component to them because I want to get into it when it first hits so I can enjoy and discover things about the game at the same time as most other people do.

I prioritize and drop everything for AAA RPG's. I bought a PS4 just to play FFXV and when Persona 5 came out it was a wrap. I played it for weeks. It will be the same for Ni No Kuni 2 and Dragon Quest XI as well
