Am I'm forgetting anything?
Wow. There's like 50 games on that list, among them are some of the generations very best games like Grand Theft Auto V and Bioshock Infinite, as well as many other gems from this year, yet The Last of Us still captures 34% of the votes. That's just amazing.
I'll actually vote for Rocksmith. It does something really innovative and does a great job of it. It's fun to play and you feel a sense of accomplishment that lasts. It's awesome.
well i really really liked Bioshock Infinite, Metro: Last Light and Remember Me
but my heart goes on Bioshock...too bad i can't vote all of them xD
@guynamedbilly: For me Rocksmith is more an educational software than a game.
I can see that. I guess maybe it depends on your level of skill with both guitar (which I am a decent amateur at) and your skill with music games (which I got very good at.) Or at least, for me I'm familiar enough with it all that it feels like a game to me, even though I haven't even nearly mastered all the songs.
Dunno. Hard to explain what I mean.
@guynamedbilly: I see your point. I'm not a pro level guitar player but I can't play a few songs I played at my friends and I thought it was a great a idea to teach guitra for people without experience it is definetely much better than look like an idiot holding a plastic guitar colorful buttons.
looks like the majority would like to see TLOU for the GOTY despite flops in the review.I can see Animal Crossing: New Leaf up there, but I believe it's not going to be a tough GOTY contender against the "profit birds"
TLOU came close to wining game of the year but it wasn't a multi platform game so the odds were against it. You are just a hater
@bowchicka07: You could have learned to play guitar by yourself too.
I did guy. But not everyone can teach themselves or afford lessons Mr. guitar elitist.
@bowchicka07: Yes, they can. There are cheaper ways than buying a console plus game.
I didn't say that there wasn't. I am just giving Rocksmith 2014 praise because it was a HUGE upgrade from its predecessor and incorporates a different way to learn how to play songs, read tabs and even sharpen whatever you already know. I'm not sure what you have against the game. Either you are a guitar elitist and you think that everyone should learn one way because you did or you're not even a musician and don't have clue what I'm talking about.
The Last of Us. I don't even have to think about that one. There were plenty of good games this year, but that game just blew me away.
Is there no voting for the awards of GS this year? Or did I miss it already? I've voted every year on here since '06. I'd find it odd if they didn't have it this year.
@bowchicka07: I think you should read my cooments before posting anything.
"I'm not sure what you have against the game." Here is what I posted before: "I thought it was a great a idea to teach guitra for people without experience".
Out that list, The Last Of Us easily. Bioshock Infinite shouldn't even be a choice, let alone twice.
'looks like Last of Us is winning this
So is that game really that good?
I voted for Assassin's Creed personally, but Last of Us looks amazing
@Blazed: even if I support platformers,it doesn't mean that I should stick with it too much, there's more to how haters actually enjoy the game they heavily objected against, for example me,I am a hater in terms of mainstream games, name it TLOU,I knew that the story convinced me to discover where will the game take me
