I don’t wanna see new consoles til at least 2021. The mid tier upgrade kinda messed that up I think. The only reason to release new consoles now is so they dominate in 4k and that just isn’t gonna happen at the right price point for a few years. If they release next year then we will be seeing another pro or x model following it once tech catches up.

Some originality and risk-taking in AAA game development. Less flash, more substance. Less online/community stuff; either make a game singleplayer, multiplayer, or both...but don't take a singleplayer game online with a bunch of "services".

I'd also like to be able to take video game journalism seriously again; it would be nice to read some good articles here on Gamespot and other places, and not a bunch of clickbait and crap videos.

It just seems to me that the video game industry is so inflated with bullshit they are forced to search for money in every conceivable corner, nook, and cranny.
