For how long will sports games last.

Seriously,i always think of that question.We're getting MLB 10 this year and already seeing news about MLB 11.Madden 10 was a blast off and who know what will happen 5 years from now.Sports have always been in our life and now it's in the videogame biz,and doing an outstanding job.So basically i'm just wondering if sports games will last forever or will they stop at a certain point in time(which i don't want them to).

They're not going to die. I mean we've been getting yearly sports games since about 1992. Do you really think people are suddenly going to get tired of the now?

i only like to have 1 of each sports games becase all sports games are the same all they do is update roster mod controlls and maby add more to manager mode they will keep making the same games to make money because suckers keep paying full price for and expansion the game will always be the same

Sports game are a big seller. People love watching and playing sports and video games just add to that excitment. Personally I have not played a madden game back since 96 (Genesis FTW :)). I do love the NHL games when you turn off the offsides and lower the penalties.
