For Honor alpha was GREAT! (vids inside)

I had my eye on this one but I never expected it to be as fun as it is. Now it's a day one! The combat is actually really fun and has some depth to it if you spend enough time with it. It has 3 modes at least for now. 1v1, 2v2, and 4v4. 4v4 is objective based. Basically, it's domination. You have your main teammates but you also have soldiers that run around helping to capture the center point. I was skeptical on it, but it actually feels really good. All of the characters are extremely unique with the choices of Vikings, Samurai, Knight, etc. I personally ended up with over an 9kd and 80% win ratio. lol What are ya'lls thoughts on this one? Amazing Parry to Ring-Out

Nice, I hope they have an open beta for this. I'm hearing a lot of good things from people who tried the Alpha, but even so, I'm still skeptical on whether I would enjoy this. Not the type of game I would normally go for, but I can't ignore fun.

I loved it. The Alpha solidified my purchase. I almost always tried for the execution so I'll be getting the Delux version for the extra executions and more customizing items.

Yeah, I hear you. That's why I'm trying to get my friends to sign up for the beta. I think it will surprise them. Team based play is solid.

I have far too much to play on my hands, and so first impressions are vital to get my attention, and this game failed to get my attention during E3. It just seemed slow and boring to me.

Yeah, I hear you. I thought it looked interesting, but it wasn't on my list to buy. I try to try as many alphas and betas as I can as it's something new for me to mess around with. For Honor surprised the shit out of me. I'd say at least give it a try if possible.
