I bought Spider Man 3 for the Wii, and don't really enjoy it that much. However, I paid good money for the game and thus feel obligated to at least finish it. Do most of you finish all of the games you buy, or do you cut your losses and give up on titles that you don't really enjoy playing?

If I really don't enjoy the game I'll put it down. I'll be more ashamed of buying a bad game rather than not finishing it.

If I don't enjoy the game, there's no point in finishing it I think (unless it has an awesome plot...then maybe).

I'd say sell it and be done with it.

I agree totally.

If the game is bad, but not so bad that you want to gouge out your eyes then I'll try my damndest to finish it. But if it really is horrible then I'll give up.

If I don't like it, i'll put it down and do something else, trade it in later.

Why waste your time playing a videogame that has no benefits whatsoever, and you don't like it, sounds like a big ol' waste of time to me.

I hardly ever buy a game I regret buying. Research ftw! I will not force myself to play any game I do not like. I don't care how much money I spent on it. I'll just try selling it as quick as possible before it takes a nose dive in value once word gets around on how bad of a game it is.

I'll try to persever but if I really don't like it I'll quit. Finishng games can be a hard thing to judje though, with 360 is getting all the point finishing or is just beating the main quest? Multiplayer is also hard to judje

I've finished games I just don't like at all (FFX-2). But like some other people said, life is too short to waste it on a bad game. I just don't have the time anymore. Bad game? drop it.

If it's a title I really don't enjoy, some of the times I just return them... Silent Hill 4 and Fatal Frame 2 were two games I just didn't get into at all and sent them back

sometimes even if the game is awesome, i have a hard time finishing it. Idk why, i just do. I have so many things too do its hard to pick up the game when you are finally home, but tired. I hope when i get Live for the 360, that will change.

why are you wasting your time with a bad game? Just because you paid for it?

Go trade it in and get something you like.

So no, I don't feel obliged to finish game

Yeah, if its a bad game, I just wont waste my time anymore than I have. I mean there are some games where there are dry spots or where you have to level up, those I just chug through, but bad games I just put down...
