Finally managed it...

A post to celebrate a big achievement (for me) today... I've posted a couple of threads on here to discuss my OCD and how it is severely effecting my gaming, to the point that I sold my PS4 and Xbox 360 because I was getting ridiculous anxiety and restarting everything the moment anything triggered it.

WELL, I kept my PS Vita, and for the first time in a VERY long time, I've managed to complete a game without restarting. Three games actually. Played through Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2 and Tearaway, and despite a couple of moments of wavering anxiety I got through all three of them without restarting.

It isn't a big thing for many gamers, but it feels like climbing over a mountain for me. Here is to the next three games.

Can you explain how OCD relates to you restarting games.

As someone who suffers from minor OCD tendencies I am glad that you were able to overcome it. Sometimes my completionist mentality overwhelms me to the point where I stop playing games for a few days.

More than likely a death or imperfect run forced him to restart. The thing with OCD is that it varies from person to person from the actual action to the severity of the action.
