Hi All!

Just got an Oculus Rift (PC) the other day and I have been enjoying some games on it. More specifically, I really love Robo Recall, Elite: Dangerous, and my "project" game for the moment is DCS: World. Trying to learn to fly that A-10C is an ordeal, but a fun one!

I've been eyeballing either DOOM VR, Skyrim VR, or Fallout 4 VR and was wondering if any of you have tried those out, and have a recommendation.

DOOM VR seems like it would go really great with VR, but at the same time it's not a game I see myself replaying a lot.

Conversely, I'm not sure how great Fallout or Skyrim goes with VR, but I can see myself playing that game for a while!

I am open to any other recommendations. Right now I'm just waiting for the VR in Subnautica to get polished up.

Thanks!

Elite Dangerous for me but that is more because I like Elite Dangerous as a game, not specific VR

that said here are two titles I am thinking about:

Ohhh Star Shelter...Space Engineers, but in VR?! Sounds good. Don't know about the other one; unfortunately, I don't have room scale VR. Just about a 5 ft wide x 4 ft deep area. Standing room only, more or less, with some room for moving around a little bit.

I Agree with E:D that game is honestly 3x as enjoyable with VR, and about 5x as enjoyable with VR and a HOTAS setup (which I also purchased)!

OOooh Lone Echo, yeah I heard that was great, really good reviews.

Been eyeballing the standard version of Super Hot, seems like a novel idea. It caters to VR pretty well?

Super Hot caters extremely well in VR the game truly makes you feel like a badass also I side note if you haven't tried google earth VR which is free it's really a awesome experience. I just came back from messing with it again it's really cool to see real life locations you been to but in VR.

Most favourite VR games are The Lab, Start trek Big crew, Doom VFR, The London Heist or The Climb etc. These are the most played VR games right now and there VR experience will be very different.

I don't have PC VR, but I like DCS Huey just as much as the A10-C. The helicopter is a blast to play imo. It is also pretty difficult to land well which I like. Maybe it will be on sale.

Yeah the add-ons for DCS World are expensive! I mean they do put a lot of work into crafting these planes, sometimes to near-perfect realism as far as controls and systems go...but damn, 80 dollars for the F/A-18!? C'mon...

It costs $100 here in Canada.lol.:o The Huey is $69.99. I was lucky and bought the games on sale before a price hike. I bought the A10C for $16.00 US and the Huey for $15, 4 or more years ago.

I don't play DCS World anymore because my PC doesn't meet the new requirements. I can still play it but I feel cheesy not meeting the requirements. I might have to load up the Huey again soon. I look forward to buying a new PC even if it is very far off.

I also would like to add the Aircar demo it's amazing if you haven't tried try it right it now. It's one of best free experiences it's like being in blade runner.
