Alright. I love collecting and playing games. I decided since I enjoy a good mix of retro and current games that I needed to expand my horizons. I sniped a Sega Saturn for pretty cheap on eBay, and now I ask you, the Legacy Platforms posters, what are some essential games I need to play for it?

I currently have: Dragon Force, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Panzer Dragon II Zwei.

My Saturn when it arrives will have Panzer Dragoon and Virtua Fighter's 1&2

Aside from NiGHTS (a given); what are the Saturn games I need to give a shot?

Get yourself an Action Replay cart and some import Capcom fighting games.

Those Action Replay carts can be pricey, but I do plan on getting one once I beat the games I have first. So imports will be a future option for me.

as for domestic (u.s.) games Clockwork Knight, Daytona usa, Shining Force, Dragon Force, Guardian Heroes, House of the Dead, Sega Rally Championship, Virtua Cop 1 + 2, Street Fighter Alpha 1 + 2.

The import Sega Saturn is where it's worth owning the system. Import titles are top notch and i'm talking about all the fighters, shoot-em-ups, puzzle games. I highly suggest getting an Action Replay ($25 on ebay) and begin importing games.

I too just got a SEGA Saturn (a week ago) and I would recommend Fighting Vipers (fighting game).

Others have suggested that I get Astal, Saturn Bomberman, Mr. Bones, Clockwork Knight 1 & 2

I hope this helps

Shining Force 3, Shining the Holy Arc, Burning Rangers and Guardians Crusade would be my suggestions on top of what you have. Awesome games.
