…those released before the PS5 Pro launches? Same question for the Xbox One 2 X.

There is a good chance I will ditch PC gaming if that's the case.

not gonna happen. First of all, it would be impossible to patch the games so that they would run on PS4 hardware. And secondly the physical PS5 games will not use regular Bluray, but 4K discs.

You might as well try patch PS4 games so they run on PS3...

If X1X ever gets exclusives, they will no doubt make downgraded ports of them for Xbones. This is what will happen with PS5 games. We will get dongraded ports of them for PS4.

Same way we got downgraded ports of PS4 games for PS3, back when PS4 launched.
