Do you guys keep all your games or do you move on when it's over?

Well it was about that time for me to do one of my game purges.....i gave up some real stinkers but i keep all my rpg's and any games that tend to hold their value. But i let go of good ones too....(Psychonauts, Feedom Fighters, KH1+2, Jak&Dax 1-3, ratchet & clanck 1-3) just to name a few.

But I had to be honest with myself, I wasn't going to play those games again. I've done everything in all of them and the experience wasn't going to change the next time around. It was tough but I had to do it so I could get some new stuff. But my question to you guys are do you consider yourself a collector of games, a player of games until it's over (churn and burn), or a little of both?

The only games I hang on to are my RPG's, I guess to me they are like good books you would want to pull out and read again sometime.

I don't "collect" games, but I do keep whatever I feel I might eventually want to experience again. I do eventually get rid of games if at some point completely lose their original appeal and/or I'm sure it's not something I'll go back to playing.

I keep the games that I know I will continue to get something from, and very occasionally keep ones that just have a great aesthetic. One example of that would be DOOM III. There's nothing there anymore in terms of gameplay, but... it's Cacodemons, man... gotta hold onto that. Heh heh.

The rest, like I said, have to have something to offer that I know I'll eventually want to play/experience again in the future.

I keep my games even the bad ones. It has nothing to do with a "Collection" I'm just to lazy to get rid off them. I rather just put them away and leave them alone

I don't sell games just because they're old or because i've finished them. I only sell themn if i don't like them.

Nope, I keep all of my games. I can't bear the idea of parting with them, even if I don't like them.

I keep all mine. I bought them, I want to keep them. And trading them in never really interested me, because I only buy games when they are less than $15, so I don't get a whole lot back...

I keep them...half because I collect, the other half is because I don´t get much money for them anyway so why should I.I buy most games at half price so it´s not that much loss if I never play them again.

I don't keep crap. But if I like a game I'm likely to keep it forever. Since I research my purchases before I make them, I rarely buy a game I don't like, but it does happen from time-to-time. X3:Reunion being the last example, I just gave it to someone who wanted it.

The only time I'll sell a game back is if I start playing it and right away I know it sucks ass. Doesn't happen very often as I keep most of my games but man I've had a couple stinkers.

I only buy high quality games so there is always a good reason to keep them for replay.

I used to sell my games but I sorely regret it, especially considered how little I got for them. I had all my nintendo, super nintendo, n64, and ps1 stuff and how I wish I could go back and change that.
