I remember when I first got my PSone. I got Motor Toon Gran Prix, Battle Arena Toshinden and Professional Underground League of Pain. I loved those games and would always play them even when I got newer and better games. People would be like those games suck but I didn't care because I had so much fun. When I first got my 360 Prey and Eternal Sonata where my first games. I loved Prey and had so much fun with it. No one was playing online and I only paid like 3 bucks for it.

Any game you got attached to that others didn't like.

Xbox 360. Kameo... not at all really though I enjoyed it at the time. Gamecube was Mario Sunshine which was good times for sure. PS2 was Shadow of the Colossus. That game is very memorable. My original Xbox games were rather meh. Super Nintendo came with Super Mario World and I love that game to death.

I find it quite difficult to get into my first game on a new console, because I don't feel like I'm really giving the game in question a fair try-out, instead I'm just testing the waters on the console itself.

Only on my N64 I ended up renting Zelda about 10 times in a row, and finally my dad decided to just buy it for me LOL Beat that about 100 times over the course of the console. Then one time I randomly picked out Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire for it, and played that tons too. It even got me into Star Wars as a kid (I think, not sure if I owned the movies before or after it)

I don't even remember any of my first games for each console, with the exception of my first ps3 game, mw2, and that's only because i just bought it and the console last month.

Yeah. I like to think of Crash and Spyro as PS1 only games. The later stuff wasn't meant to be.

Yes first game for PS3 was Metal Gear Solid 4 and I have great memories of playing it, and would never think about selling it.

I don't really get attached to the first game i get for my console, because generally, when I get a new console I get the bundle package with comes with 1-2 games... and they're usually games I'm not interested in. Like when I got my PS3 and it came with inFamous and KZ2... played both of them for a couple hours, then got bored and sold them, and used the money to help buy a couple games I actually wanted. As for liking games that other people didn't... I really enjoyed FFX-2, despite what anybody else says about it. Also, I seem to find very few people that actually have anything good to say about Bayonetta.

Oh heck yes! The first game I ever had on my 360 was Skate. I have been faithful to the franchise ever since, and have never turned one into Gamestop unless I have its successor. I currently own Skate 2 and Skate 3. Man, I've probably put in 150+ hours with all three games put together.

Not me.

My first N64 game was Super Mario 64 and I would pick Banjo Kazooie all seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years for the rest of my life.

My first PS2 game was Jak and Daxter and I didn't really like that one.

Now I really liked Soul Calibur and Crazy Taxi for my Dreamcast, but they aren't games I'd go out of my way to play regularly, or talk about. Same goes for Halo on Xbox.

I just got a PS3 last week, and my first game was inFAMOUS. It's a fun game and I've already beaten it, but it'll be a while before I come back to it.

Not really... except maybe Halo 3. I don't play it much anymore.
