Kinda looks like ass. I hope Monolith plans on improving those graphics.

Interesting premise, extremely poor looking graphics from what i've seen, and a hero which is a cross between Travis Touchdown and Wolverine ... which is probably good, i'm not sure.

Can't say this game intrigues me much at present but then i know nothing about it yet.

I'm honestly not one to put a lot of emphasis on graphics, but either the developer is making a poor effort with the visuals thus far, or the Wii really isn't much more than an upgraded Gamecube. Wow....

I'd go with the poor effort excuse. The GameCube is capable of a lot better than this.

Some pics look great, others look worse than PS1 games... quite odd. Still interested to see what the game has to offer in terms of the game part.

This game should come out on more powerful hardware imo, how are they realisticly going to simulate natur disasters with the wii hardware? Might be the reason why this title has such bad graphics.

The quality of the screens seems to vary wildly, some of them look impressive whilst others are plain embarrassing. I was expecting more after such secrccy around the game. Still the concept itself still has me interested, there are some interesting things to be gleaned from those screens such as 'concentration', 'lungs' and 'real time event camera'. If those rather poor graphics are the price to be paid for a seemlessly integrated 'go anywhere' world then I suppose they are a little more palatable.

The original Disaster game on PS2 also looked like excrement, but it played as well as any previously or subsequently released big-name survival horror game. Really looking forward to this.

Are they related? I didn't think they were? Do you have any info about the PS2 games? I thought that was like a natural disaster escape game.

I don't know of any Disaster for the PS2. Do you mean Disaster Report and its sequel Raw Danger? If so, they're unrelated.

And yes, they looked like crap.

that cardboard taxi's gonna dissolve in all that water.

And nice, semi-swastika Monolith Soft XD. That's one HUD icon we probably won't be seing again.

Do Baten Kaitos 3 instead, please.

Um, it only vaguely looks like one, if you were to just look at the legs...maybe. Otherwise, both 'semi-swastikas' are simply icons depicting a person crouching down onto one knee.

These pics are really... wierd. Most of them have some nice details in them but also have something ugly in them. Like that pic with the taxi - the scene as a whole really isn't that bad but the taxi in the front messes it all up. It's like, pulled from an N64 engine or something. Then the last pic in the original post - almost everything is ok with a nice character model and all... but the bushes up front are so blurry. Ah well, it's an unfinished game. Maybe they'll even everything out before release. It's for 2008 so there should be some time.

The one pic that does look good is the second to last one. The building is nicely detailed. It looks like it's in the middle of falling too, so I imagine it would look impressive in motion. Actually, it makes me wonder if the rest of the game is like that where there's chaos and destruction everywhere. It would make sense, and it would make it look more impressive in motion.

They were both awesome games though. Are you sure they are not related, this game gives off the same vibe (through the visuals).
