Digital Devil Saga vs. Devil Summoner

Yes yes, I know Persona and Nocturne are awesome. But which is a overall better series? Digital Devil Saga or Devil Summoner?

I would have to go with the Digital Devil Saga series. It contains better gameplay, better story, and is more difficult.

I never really considered it a spin off nor have I ever heard of it being called a spin off.

DDS hands down.

As far as I know, the games are more or less like FF where each game belongs in a different universe. The apocalyptic settings, demons etc are some of the things that are similar in each of the SMT games. But as for the plot, no, I don't think so. Of course, I'm always willing to be humbled :P

Digital Devil Saga. Really great series with a cool story and premise. You will love the demon forms of your characters :D
