If you were trapped on a desert island with just one single-player game, what would it be?

I can't decide between The Orange Box and Flashback. Both present so many ways to challenge yourself.

I have asked myself that question too. Well you will need a game with much playtime and not a game you can get bored by like Tetris.

But I think I would take Animal crossing because that you play in a social town wich you don't have in a deserted Island and it's playtime never ends and its fun.

If this wasn't Legacy Platforms I would say Just Cause 2. Since this is Legacy I will go with the guy above me and take Animal Crossing. I wouldn't want a game that has a definitive end because anything is going to get boring after a while. Not that Animal Crossing doesn't get boring(it does) but its something that I could come back to more easily.

Dragon Warrior 1. Spent more time playing that game than any other. And I'll probably never get tired of it.

Not to get off topic...but hell yeah!

This was one of the first games I got for the PS2. My friends got my wife and I a PS2 as a wedding present (they knew we were poor and needed cheap entertainment!). We played Shadow of Destiny straight through on our honeymoon (remember, because we were really poor) and got all of the endings. That game will never leave my collection as a result!

"Here, take this digipad."

Well lets say you also get to bring around the system or have a way to play it. What the purpose of having a good game if you can't play it? I would probably have to say Ocarina of Time. I

I'd probably take Lost: The Game, and just laugh at the irony...

Animal Crossing for Gamecube. Being able to play those CIassic NES titles in addition to the game itself would be invaluable. I mean, look at these games (some require Action Replay to access): Balloon Fight Baseball Clu Clu Land Clu Clu Land D Donkey Kong Donkey Kong 3 Donkey Kong Jr. Donkey Kong Jr. Math Excitebike Golf Ice Climber The Legend of Zelda Mario Bros. Pinball Punch-Out!! Soccer Super Mario Bros. Tennis Wario's Woods Plus all of the GBA/Gamecube link functionality and e-Reader stuff.

I love this question, definitely makes me think a little. Id either go with Okami or Super Mario 64 or maybe Final Fantasy 7.

Although I haven't played one in quite a while, I think maybe a Football Manager or Championship Manager game. Just because of the endless possibilities makes it last for a loooong time.

If I'm trapped on a desert island, how would I have the correct console for the game and/or even the electricity to power it aswell as a screen to see what I was doing?

What good would having one game have if you don't have a TV or electricity to play it on? ;) I would take one of the Yugioh games, at least the special cards inside them I could eat! LOL Really though, if I were to have one game to play for eternity on a desert island, I would have to go with either Super Mario All Stars or Halo 3, the reason I would pick halo 3 is because I could go online and tell people to please help me. :D

World Of Warcraft!neseri12

It's gotta be a single-player game.

That is also a game I maby would have picked because it's almost the most free game ever. and the story never really ends in that games. And it's hard to get bored in it.
